Counselling can provide clarity of thought, and support for our feelings when we feel particularly vulnerable or anxious, or when life brings changes or losses which can seem too hard to bear.
Presenting issues can include depression, addiction, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, anger management, bereavement and many compulsive patterns of behaviour.
I offer short and long-term engagement for individuals and couples in a counselling relationship, in a safe and confidential environment where problems can be explored.
I work within the Ethical Framework set out by the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy of which I am a senior accredited member (see www.bacp.co.uk), and the Code of Ethics set out by the European Association for Transactional Analysis (see www.eatanews.org) of which I am also a member.
If you want to find out how counselling or psychotherapy can help you, please feel free to contact me for an exploratory discussion.
If you are a trainee or qualified counsellor, psychotherapist or other health or social care professional seeking clinical supervision, please visit the page marked "Supervision" for further information.
